Boetie Gaan Border Toe!
This movie is sort of South Africa's answer to 'Stripes' crossed with 'Ballad of the Green Berets', 'Mister Roberts'...

Ryan S (kr) wrote: The idea of this movie is good, the plot has potential and so do the characters, but it just isn't pulled off as well as it could be. It's pretty slow moving, but it builds up things pretty well at first, but just when it looks like it's going to get somewhere, it really doesn't. There seems to be too many sub-plots involved in this as well that just don't go anywhere, hell the main plot doesn't even really go anywhere. The ending was disappointing and just didn't make much sense. The acting was quite good, especially that of the serial killer character, and, like I said, the characters themselves had potential, but they lacked some depth and there was a lot of things that they just barely touched on, about the characters, that they should have went into more. Also, this is marketed as a horror movie, but it's really just a thriller... and not the most thrilling one at that. All in all it does start off well and it does show some flashes of a great movie in there, but in the end it's just okay.

Pablo G (mx) wrote: Bold and humorus at times, and at other times plain honest and heartbreaking, Fahrenheit 9/11 doesnt quite match other Moore documentaries, but certainly exposes a ton of impressive and bizzarre information that will leave the viewers shocked and amazed and ready for some debate.
Eva M (mx) wrote: One question: just how difficult would it have been to put the proper apostrophe in the title?Anyway, this is quite fun and pleasant with a couple of really nice moments, and with Grant and Bullock being quite adorable and silly. I was left wishing the writing would have been better, then even this predictable story could have risen to another level.
George B (it) wrote: More twisted and fun than the first. I love the ending! I wish the rest of the series continued in this direction.

Well, why mine?Joan Howell: The answer should be quite obvious, shouldn't it?Tom Milford: The fact of the matter is, mine is quite disorganized. I've been having maid trouble, too.Joan Howell: Well, I'll tell you what. You take me to your apartment and I'll show you what I can do with a vacuum cleaner. A cute if not at times somewhat ridiculous case of mistaken identity (kind of).
