Susan G (de) wrote: Loved this movie. Not exactly like the book but damn good. I thought Heigl did a great job being Plum. Maybe you had to read the books and enjoy them to like the movie. It was funny. Anyway I loves it and hope they make some more of the books into movies.

Buggy B (ag) wrote: This wasn't as bad as I was expecting but it wasn't great either. Dubbed as a 'drama' I would categorize it 'romance' and in saying that I'm not sure how I feel about watching Harrison Ford in a full-on love scene, uncomfortable is a word that comes to mind. I did find it interesting how Ford's character "Dutch" dealt with his grief, by becoming obsessed with learning the details of his wife's affair, treating it as a case. "Kay" on the other hand just wanted to sweep the whole mess away. The ongoing score of piano music drove me crazy! 06.13"Poignant tearjerker about two people whose grief brings them together after they lose their spouses in a plane crash. Harrison Ford plays a detective and Kristen Scott Thomas a congresswoman, together they struggle with the news that their spouses were having an affair."

"The Beastmaster chases down his long lost evil brother who, with the aid of a witch, has discovered a way to travel to parallel universes (modern day L.A.), where they plan to bring back the "neutron detonator" and rule the world. This ones got quite a few more laughs in it compared to the first Beastmaster, watching Dar fumble his way through the busy streets of L.A. is very amusing. At one point when Jackie is driving Dar around in her daddys beamer, she turns on the radio to a rock station. Dar describes his frist Rock & Roll experience as being similar to an earthquake. Excellent sequel!

This is the peak of the "photojournalism film" all i know. I watched it many times with the same excitement. Soundtracks are great.
