A double twitch off Hatcher and Theron (the latter gets the charlies out) some good black comedy and although it is enjoyable, some 24 hours later it is somewhat forgettable.

The power struggle between Maximus and Joaquin Phoenix as Commodua is fantastic, as well as the friendship with Djimon Hounsou. It is beautifully shot, and gets bonus points for large sets and effects.
