Essentially Kiarostami creates a subtle home movie recording a certain place and certain lives. Never once did it feel intrusive or exploitative.

Tony P (nl) wrote: Scars Of Dracula in the UK.Christopher Lee returns as Count Dracula as Hammer film studio revives the franchise. It is a familiar screenplay for a Dracula film. Basically Dracula is revived from the undead and goes on a killing spree from his castle hideout and a village nearby. Here the cast stars a very youthful Denis Waterman with an accent far fetched from his later television roles in The Sweeney and Minder.Waterman searches for his brother last heard of going to the castle for lodgings. The special effects are even more laughable than some other Hammer features.Lee does look even more scary than his other Dracula escapades. More zombie. The film relies heavily on annoying bats (suspended by fishing wire most likely) and shrieking more like seagulls on Scarborough beach. The Dracula story, if not already is starting to wear thin now.
