This is a loving story about a mother and a daughter, about the battle to show the love that you really feel in your heart and to feel such strong love for someone that you can't possibly fall out of it or possibly see the bad things that he's put the family through. Jena Malone did a wonderful job as the role of Bone and Jennifer Jason Leigh was amazing as the mother, together they did a perfect bond that really made this movie to an experience worth remembering.

(kr) wrote: This a great movie with great chemistry between the leads. It shows the when two people are meant to be nothing can keep them apart. Loved it.
(es) wrote: I love a good slow burning spy film, and you can't get much better than John Le Carre so this film is basically a no brainer for fans of the genre. Check it out!

(fr) wrote: Blech. This is pretty schmaltzy by even Hollywood standards. Bergman plays a saintly au pair willing to sacrifice anything to help the patrician family that employs her. The family, of course, comes to lover her and her as one of their own, even as they ship her back to Europe when they can't afford her! The film reflects a very naive attitude towards domestic labor relationships and a hostile one towards female sexuality. It is definitely a product of its time. I could barely get through it.
