The action sequences were intense and had an awesome car chase climax that felt similiar to mad max. Timothy Dalton did a great job portraying a more serious and gritty performance as Bond. Pam (Carey Lowell) did a fantastic job as the bond girl and participated in the action scenes aiding in helping James Bond instead of playing the damsel in distress like some of the movies.

The performances are amazing and that song by James Taylor, "Fire and Rain", is one of the most moving songs I've seen in a film. Oh, River Phoenix is brilliant, I forgot to mention. If you are a fan of cinema, please watch this masterpiece by Sidney Lumet.
