(de) wrote: The movie isn't quite as good as the show and isn't particularly necessary. However it is fun for young fans of the TV series and a movie I enjoyed in my youth. It's a simple but fun story, just pretty bland compared to the original show.
(it) wrote: open season is a pretty good entry into the animated cannon. theres lots of gags and jokes with good voice acting and a great cast of characters making this a good watch.
(nl) wrote: Nothing special about this movie. It's average and the best thing about it is the dancing.
(jp) wrote: Resident Evil ... Paul W.S. Anderson brings another popular record breaking/Historic video game franchise to the big screen. We follow Alice on her journey to learn the truth about the Umbrella Corporation and the deadly man made T-Virus outbreak. First to point out that the plot has been completely changed from the game and the characters are not the same. Alice is a strong and smart female played perfectly by Milla Jovovich. It's action packed and thrilling from beginning to end but that alone couldn't save it from poor execution, a poor script and overall cheesy feel.

(it) wrote: The Hammer mood is perfect enough, the story is just too dull after a while.
(us) wrote: The cinematography and acting are both beyond reproach. The disjointed story and oddly paced editing, however, are not.

(fr) wrote: Damn good film that chronicles the game show scandals of the 50s. It looks at social and political issues. ...If your handsome and you deliver ratings we want you. Redford has a dialogue and story that makes the over 2 hr film fly by. The performance from Fienns is so right on here....His emotions range all over the place and you wonder what this guy is really thinking. It's so well made you think you are watching a documentary.
(de) wrote: A classic in the Science Fiction genre, and one of the greatest pre-Star Wars Science Fiction films of all time. The special effects are astounding!
(au) wrote: A very effective Hitchcockian thriller that starts off as a modest drama, taking a good time to develop its characters in a careful way, and then starts unexpectedly to become suffocatingly tense as the characters find themselves trapped more and more in an unbearable situation.
