Dustin I (kr) wrote: A better movie and installment that builds on the first in almost every way!

Rick B (de) wrote: Decent sci-fi movie. Not so much a horror flick as a psychological thriller. Good for killing time and you won't hate Dennis Quaid for making this movie. Passable.

Andrew B (kr) wrote: Harrowing, affecting and completely compelling.

Jesse B (fr) wrote: The MPAA has been bullying filmmakers for the past 40 years. The ratings have no use in a profanity and sex ridden violent media world today. Now, they exist just because they have existed and it feels like the law to obey them. This film captures that in a great way and I commend Kirby Dick for doing a phenomenal job with this film.

Adrian F (jp) wrote: wild america is a pretty decent movie based on a true story. its about 3 brothers who bring a camera and venture out into the wilderness. the story line is pretty good and the acting is surprisingly not terrible. although its a bit over the top and unbelievable at times, its still pretty entertaining and gives us a good look into nature. its a good family film that is well directed and has good scenery. it has some good well humored jokes and situations as well.

Robert R (gb) wrote: This is a clear exercise in why historical films shouldn't be treated as just history lessons. It managed to take a fairly worthy premise and bludgeon it to near death with an overall lack of urgency or stakes, an unbearable reliance on lengthy passages of circular dialogue, and a permeating feeling of disinterest exuded by nearly every cast member other than Peter O'Toole. And, try as he may to inject this thing with as much scenery-munching vim and vigor as he can, it all really matters naught in the end.

Justin S (ru) wrote: One of the best animated films ever

Bill B (kr) wrote: Everything I know about short selling stocks and the anatomy of Jamie Lee Curtis I learned from this funny flick. A second standout success for Eddie Murphy, and a solid revenge plot fraught with memorable moments. Makes my top 20 comedies of the '80s.

Brian C (mx) wrote: Great story and very interesting villain. Too bad the acting was so bad and flat

Alexander R (fr) wrote: Most films (as opposed to movies, shall we say?) are made to have us reflect on life. With this film, Director-Writer, Hirokazu Koreeda, goes the literal route with this notion; in a very imaginative and original way. This film is such a daring undertaking in its plot. Furthermore, it's touching in itself that Koreeda was not only bold enough to provide the deep investment that the subject matter demanded from its writer/director, but that he was also emotionally drawn into such convoluted material. And finally, it deserves applause because he pulled it off so well.I'll write more on this later.

Tim M (us) wrote: A good leading cast and some truly funny writing carries an otherwise conventional male midlife crisis comedy.
