Scott R (it) wrote: A documentary showing the pros of having death with dignity. It still had an agenda despite trying to be objective, and this was tedious at times, but it still told an important story.

Emil H (fr) wrote: Unexpectedly good movie from Kevin Smith's buddy Bryan Johnson, not the warm hearted comedy you'd expect from View Askew, but a partwise pretty dark (yet funny) story starring "Clerks" star Brian O'Halloran. Look out for plenty View Askew alumni, including Kevin himself, his DP Dave Klein and Jason Mewes!

David B (ca) wrote: This film was incredibly annoying. It spent an hour and a bit being a completely formulaic; my son and I accurately predicting every single scene. Then, in the most hamfisted turnaround in movie history (critic's hyperbole) it throws almost all your expectations back in your face and ends with a "lesson" that can in no way be drawn from any of the events of the movie. I will leave the room if this film is on again, but then so will all my family. Can I have 105 minutes of my life back please TCM?

Jerry P (gb) wrote: Take liberal sprinklings of the history of science, some seemingly random bits of political and economic history and a bit of ecology (both the natural and human sorts) throw them in a bag... add some clever dialogue by three gifted actors and you get Mindwalk. I thought it was brilliant twenty years ago. Timeless.

Loreno R (au) wrote: Mystic River manages to be engaging, thoughtful, and guided by the sure hand of Eastwood. A suspenseful masterpiece, that usually forgoes the usual mystery and gum-shoe examination, in favor of character interaction and chemistry. While the ending may at first seem out of place, upon further inspection, is intelligent and thought-provoking

Brian C (us) wrote: Powerful and depressing. Proxy is filled to the brim with drama and interesting characters. The story starts with Esther being attacked after her latest OB appointment, and losing the baby from the violent attack. She goes to a support group and things slowly go off the rails.Proxy succeeds through the wonderful performances and slow building tension throughout. Highly recommended.
