Lucas M (de) wrote: Spirited Away exceeds the already high expectations for a Hayao Miyazaki film with a fantastic story that will have you watching it again and again.

Jaime W (mx) wrote: One of the first movies I saw as a kid that has become my favorite "type" of movie...true stories about underdogs challenging the system. A more recent movie similar to this is Greg Kinnear's Flash of Genius.Tucker holds up really well after all these years. Francis Ford Coppola put his filmmaking skills on the line for this lovingly crafted passion project, with George Lucas helping to pay the bills and provide more than decent production values.

Connor R (it) wrote: Ozu creates compelling and fascinating characters, which are a joy to watch on screen.

Kimi F (us) wrote: I saw an early screening of this movie, including a Q&A with one of the missionaries on whom the story was based. I was amazed by the movie, and even more so when I learned that there were actually 9 people, not 6, in that tiny car! Great story of faith and people doing the right thing in the midst of life and death circumstances.

Mark W (nl) wrote: Surprisingly I found the remake to be a far superior film... I don't think I've ever said that before (maybe for Hills Have Eyes).... Frankly the movie lacked any real major plot, it was poorly acted, had an unbelievably unrealistic character attitude switch near the end and well the whole thing was pretty much subpar... I must say the end to the film was fun but with a clear Friday The 13th influence!
