Guy is an experienced British fighter pilot who is in command of Britain's first manned mission to space. He has trained for this for three years at the height of the Cold War and now he is alone in space with a malfunctioning capsule. He has limited contact with the UK, some unusual communication with the US and some unorthodox communication with Roscosmos deep in Soviet Russia. Who will help him? Will he make the right choice?

Orlando D (it) wrote: How does one follow up a modern horror masterpiece like A Nightmare On Elm Street?(The Hills Eyes 2 doesnt count, it was filmed in 83 released in 85.)You release Deadly Friend indeed. A movie that offers no chills and no surprises thats so forgettable I seriously doubt when it was released on DVD for the first time, horror fans did not rejoice with excitement. This Frankenstein for the 80s stars Matthew Laborteaux as a boy genius who creates a robot, the annoying BB. He meets cute Sam(Kristy Swanson)the girl next door with an abusive, alcoholic Dad. Once Sam is accidentially killed by her Dad, our teenage Frankenstein decides to bring her to life, not by hacking up body parts, but installing a computer chip in her brain. She goes on a killing spree, including nasty neighbour Anne Ramsey courtesy of a basketball. The direction by Craven is so by the numbers it hard to like this movie, plus the script by Bruce Joel Ruben(Ghost)is nothing to get excited about either, you feel for the actors who are likable but deserved better. Plus, that end credits song is horrible, it ranks for me the second worst song for a movie(Graveyard Shift being the worst.)If you want to watch some older Wes Craven films I suggest you skip this one and watch the underrated The Serpent and the Rainbow instead.

When we are not the only people people who get ducked ip the ass when shit hits the fan. When we are prone to ducking up that we don't cover up for some, while others do gor us when we are friends. When others are fuck ups when they can't help but get rich. When others are fuck ups that we can't have them fucking things up for us any longer that get rid of them. When we can't help but know somethings are fucked up, and getting into things would seriously fuck you up in the end. When somethings we are in we fucking enjoy when we are surround by fucking good looking people and scenery to know we fucking have it good.

Wes D (us) wrote: Two negatives here: 1) the British accents are so thick and the soldier slang so overwhelming I had to turn on English subtitles. 2) It looks low budget, and was filmed on the side of a single rocky hill in Jordan. Guys step on mines, survive, and are airlifted out. End of story.
