Scott M (ag) wrote: Totally hated this movie! One of the worst I have ever seen and could have been so much better. Don't think I'll be watching the American remake.

Carlos P (gb) wrote: Any adaptation from Dr. Oliver Sacks's books are highly emotional and inspiring. The amazing power of human brain in bringing back memories with the help of music is fascinating. A true inspiring movie, not at the level of "Awakenings", but definitely a life lesson for learning and for living.

Alex S (ca) wrote: a lovely tale of immigrant life... it has stark reality interlaced with romanticism and nostalgia. an after-thought- it reminded me of the void that is of the working class, the poor from villages who were the majority of the immigrants who came over to Britain in the sixties, they have never been justly placed on celluloid and regardless of target audience, i for one hope that one day i'll see more of my parents depicted elsewhere, where discussions and insights can be extrapolated, and somewhere other than my own subjective memory store. a good, albeit pandering to the middle class, effort (this film that is).

Ali S (gb) wrote: I've been wanting to see this for quite some time so I was thrilled when I finally got the chance to. It's perhaps the first time that I've seen an animated doc. This is a great tribute to Ryan Larkin, his work and achievements. It does what any good tribute should - makes you want to know more about a stranger by being faithful to his/her story. The animation is so appropriate for the story being told. The style speaks to the tortured artist that is Ryan and the rawness of life. Overall, it's a great concept. I walked away from this film informed and touched.

Jamie C (ag) wrote: Good Christmas film, A little silly but hey it's a Christmas film it shouldn't be serious, One of them films that I must watch at Christmas and one of my favourite ones.

Frances H (de) wrote: Pleasant, lovely to look at film about the nature of love.

Darren D (es) wrote: if you're new to James Belushi, this is not the place to start. This movie is unfunny and just plain silly. For better laughs, try 'Red Heat' or 'Taking Care of Business'.

rosemarie s (br) wrote: A fantastic suspensful thriller of who done it... This movie was so thrilling that I still think about it after 30 years... You don't know who to trust sometimes...

Mirkku S (ru) wrote: This is probably my favorite Lord of the Rings movie. Gotta love Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli!
