In terms of stand-up films wise, this is really what Kevin Hart is at his best and managed to make a hilarious one out of Let Me Explain, so I was pretty excited to see it, and it's just as good as his previous stand-up film. I remember from his previous film that he has a sub-plot that goes right up to the main act, and that was actually the weakest part of that, but in this, it's a little better in terms of how fun it was to watch, but wasn't quite as funny as it's trying to be, even though I had some good laughs on it. When it goes to the stand-up, that's where the movie's strongest point is at, and he gives off jokes left and right that are hilarious. The stories that he gives are interesting while leading to a punchline that got me cracking up. The only issue that I have with his stand-up in this is that he tends to repeat some of his jokes, and while some of it is still funny, it can also get old, and when he does the longer jokes again, it gets pretty tiring and feel like it was on a lull for me. Kevin Hart: What Now? is a great film that shows that Kevin Hart can still be funny when it's from his material, and also from other films too when it doesn't count on him being just short.
