Charles Manson Superstar

For forty years, Charles Manson has survived most of his life in what he calls 'the hallways of the all ways,' the reform schools, jails and prisons that have been his home and tomb. His thought was born in the hole of solitary confinement, apart from time and beyond the grasp of society. In his cell, he created his own world and speaks his own language: he has concluded that there is only the mind. From convincing his followers to move into the desert to train for the apocalypse, to leading a murderous crew through a string of devilish murders, you will see and hear from Manson himself of how he created a preconceived terror based on his philosophy of life. Manson claims that the so-called 'straight' world outside of prison is but an inverted reflection of the underworld in which he has lived. To him, the reality that presidents and law-abiding citizens accept begins in the hermetic alternate universe of criminals, cons and outlaws.

Bora B (de) wrote: I liked the Zen Master Dogan's saying - Don't waste even a grain of rice, it is as if your eye! It's unbelievable that we all waste tons of food while people are dying because of starvation. I think it's a nice documentary even though I find Master Brown a bit unstable person;)

Catarina C (gb) wrote: This film should be seen and heard intently for it talks to the viewer in a intimate and also moral level. Meryl Streep and Philip Seymour Hoffman give exquisite performances. Amy Adams is a surprise and Viola Davis, despite the few scenes, is fenomenal.

Daniel J (de) wrote: All but impossible to find in the US, despite the fact it was filmed in my own home state of North Carolina, Fall Down Dead has been utterly lambasted by many a horror fan, but I found it to be a decent if uninspired little thriller. The Picasso Killer is way too chatty for a psychotic mass murderer, the cops in the film are a little on the stupid side, and the acting has a few grey spots, but I always enjoy watching Dominique Swain perform. Unfortunately, the ending doesn't do anyone - particularly the audience - any favors.

Mario J (mx) wrote: La pelcula quiere contarnos muchas cosas, pero no consolida una historia central, por lo que todo parece superficial. Sin embargo creo que tiene un no s que refrescante que la hace entretenida. 5/10

Charles P (au) wrote: It won't be for everybody (let alone children), but the film's young actors give very believable performances.

CJ C (es) wrote: Reminded me of THE DREAMERS (which I really didnt care for, all hype) so much that I thought MPitt would pop up in a scene sooner or later LOL. Disappointing for a French flick.

Laarnie S (ca) wrote: Very compelling. Interesting way to portray history.

Jordan K (au) wrote: Grease 2 is a perfect example of a disastrous sequel. I didn't find the original to hold anything special except its still growing legacy - the second one is absolutely horrid, with such a bland atmosphere and characters you won't care about (especially the 5 or so actors they got to return only briefly), Grease 2 is one of the worst in '80s cheese and one of the worst sequels ever.Grease 2 holds no real resemblances to the first, except for the school. Characters you may have liked are all gone, instead replacing Danny with the nerdy British exchange student Michael and Sandy with the most popular girl in school, Stephanie - it's a role reversal plot at its worst, and there's tons of bad suspense points cheesy dialogue, tie-ins to the early '60s, it's all so bleak and bland that it looks like a bootleg ripoff.Grease 2 is the worst kind of film cheese, with everything wrong about the original times ten. Those who even say Pfeiffer's performance was a redeeming factor are wrong - it's a boring way to cash in more on the franchise nobody wanted a sequel for. Grease 2 is one of the all time worst...

Scott R (gb) wrote: A French love affair that manages to capture the suddenness that then takes over your life. I am sure it was racey for its time, but it was believable and well made.

Jamie M (es) wrote: Loved it! Julianne Hough is gorgeous and was perfect for the role.

Tyler S (gb) wrote: It's actually an interesting premise with a pretty cool beginning. It gets rolling and you think it still has promise. It flames out due to overacting from Quaid and the rest of the cast.
