Sarah P (us) wrote: Nothing groundbreaking, but it was entertaining. Might've been better if it was focused on "swinging" in general rather than on one man.

Dancy P (es) wrote: Awesome! From what I'm reading, many people hate the low budget animation but it works in their world. I like the philosophy behind it, the politics, I liked it all! For a low budget animation, it was executed awesomely!

Gareth D (fr) wrote: One of the most memorable horror films I ever watched, you have to watch it in a quiet room in complete darkness and be absorbed by it. It will make you jump, it will scare you. You will remember it.

ART

Sean R (jp) wrote: One of the most interesting and dramatic roles I have seen Richard Harris in. Left for dead, Harris travels across the country side to find the man who left him alone to die, and through his journey witnesses both death and life through his own eyes on other people. What drives this man to the end to keep going? Reminded me of the Tom Hanks film, CAST AWAY, but with a different setting. One of the top Richard Harris classics!

Andrew K (fr) wrote: While not the greatest Spaghetti Western, Death Rides a Horse comes across as a fairly solid movie. Some of the scenes have some real tension, mostly due to the excellent performances by Lee Van Cleef and John Phillip Law. However, some of the scenes with the baddies come across as flat and outdated. Ennino Morricone's score is memorable and effective. Overall, a good western. Make sure you watch the widescreen release with decent audio; the nasty VHS transfers aren't even watchable to me.
