Laara C (ru) wrote: Refreshing to see, two people who are in their late 30s or early 40s from what it seems find each other. They both are obviously different but have the same issues to deal with, they both get used to each others companies and help each other through out the way. The movie has its funny moments, and heart warming scenes as well. Quite nice to see that its never too late to get out and experience the world even if at first you're scared. Sometimes the universe decides to quick you out into the open, of course its a scary change for some but it brings a good change&lessons, like this two characters.

Dave C (gb) wrote: A very good film I knew nothing about. It put it on Tivo based on the cast, which has some of my favorite actors included. Based on a true story, it makes you think about a time in history, which relates very well in many ways to today still. Silencing of art, censoring of views, and the crazy thing that escape revisionist history. I'm sure any right winged person would hate it and think it very self indulgent. Otherwise, enjoy.

Anna B (au) wrote: Betrays its exploitation roots in the third act with some ludicrous scenes, but for the most part it's surprisingly dramatic and it kept my interest to the end. The shot composition is quite nice too.
Ben K (au) wrote: One of the finest examinations of the banality of evil ever filmed and also a realistic look at those French who collaborated with the Nazi's during WWII. Blaise is perfectly cast for this since he was not an a professional actor and could perfectly convey the sense of blankness the character required in a way a professional actor could not. Blaise would tragically die a year later in a car accident.
