(es) wrote: A meditative exploration of friendship, loss, memory, and sexual awakening, set against a backdrop of the decaying rural South. Jeter trades in narrative for more free reign in a perma-dusk character experience.

(gb) wrote: John Ford created this tense and whole-hearted western tale about the legendary Wyatt Earp and his battle both with the law, and with a deadly gang stomping on his feet through the whole time. As he observes the rise of violence and corruption in a desolate town of Tombstone, he decides to become a marshall and finally clean out the city from all the outlaws and no-goodnicks. As hard as it may seem, the Clanton gang makes his job enormously harder. While the plot oscillates around romance, bravery, gun fights, witty dialogues and true grit, the climatic finale gives a rewarding conclusion to the tale, making My Darling Clementine the finest Ford western without John Wayne in the cast. And the titular song is a classic.

(es) wrote: Housebound is a horror comedy that knows exactly how to be a horror comedy. It is silly at times but the film knows it is silly, which made it very enjoyable to watch. First time director Gerard Johnstone also found a few funny ways to make fun of some of the classic horror movie clichs that we all hate. In the end Housebound was a fun little film that I had a blast watching!
