victor l (kr) wrote: How to deal... with jerks? This film shows it is impossible. The performances are awful, being Janney the only element of the cast that sometimes had good moments (specially when she falls in love again, pity her role was "very" supporting and underdeveloped) but definitely not enough to save this bad movie from bombing. It's not boring, but highly predictable, absurd and preposterous. Peter Gallagher deserved the Razzie Award nomination and the old actress that played the role of the marihuana addict and impertinent Moore's grandmama, too (God, I can't believe that was the legendary Nina Foch!).

MariePier D (br) wrote: Very Funny! Everyone need to see Chris Evans with whip cream (well... everyone who does appreciate a perfect male body! Wummy). And please, tell me where do that boy with the video come from...C'est drle et il faut voir Chris Evans avec de la crme (Enfin... pour ceux qui savent apprcier un beau corps de mec! Wummy.). Dites-moi d'o sort le gars la video...

Alec B (es) wrote: I know it's melodramatic and highly fictionalized but I still enjoy it. Hopkins is an incorrigible ham from start to finish, but it works for this kind of grand, operatic staging of Nixon's presidency.

Allan C (jp) wrote: Kind of weak anthology horror film, but it has it's charms. Emilio Estevez listening to punk rock is a nice nod to his "Repo Man" past. It's also got a good cast that includes Veronica Cartwright, Richard Masur, Lance Henriksen, Lee Ving and William Sanderson. I think I like the final giant killer rat story the best.

Drew S (br) wrote: Look, I love Idris Elba as much as anyone else. I know the historical significance of his journey. He was a great man. But nothing happens for almost an hour & a half. Then once he's out it slows down again. Has aspects of every other film from the genre (The Hurricane, Malcolm X). Also seriously fuck U2. They really only wrote a song for this film so Bono could inflate his ego & win more awards. It had nothing to do with the film & didn't appear until end credits. Average film. parts were beautiful.
