You can see how he opened doors for MTV and changed talk shows, but the story behind the curtains isn't as interesting if you didn't live in that era...if you are 40 or over though, you will most likely enjoy it more than me though.

Kimberly W (kr) wrote: I really didn't get this movie at all and maybe it's because I'm not married but I found it boring and there was way to much foul language in it.

Robyn M (jp) wrote: politicians have a up hold to keep, Tess a former lady makes exceptions. Gaurding tess is fun, real and endearing. It's emotions run deep as you try and understand both Nicolas cages (The body gaurd/ secret service) smoothering her and Shirley Maclaine struggling for freedom. I like this good feeling drama/comedy. MacLaine has brillance and as most who know her personally say this is her in real life sharp as a tack and always expressing her views wither you like it or not!

Art S (fr) wrote: Another of Bunuel's Mexican films wherein he tells the picaresque tale of two bumbling streetcar workers who, after swiftly repairing a streetcar that had been deemed obsolete (and a few beers), decide to steal it for one last spin. Their adventures take them across Mexico City and in contact with a solid cross-section of the public, including slaughterhouse workers who gleefully (and surreally) hang huge slabs of meat (and heads) from the roof of the tram. Perhaps there is a metaphor or a moral here - certainly Bunuel takes the opportunity to poke fun at corporate capitalism - but any message takes a back seat (ahem) to the overall good time on offer. I particularly enjoyed the staging of Lucifer's banishment from Heaven and Adam and Eve's departure from Eden at the local festival, not unlike the amateur theatrical performances in Renoir's The Rules of the Game in their wacky but creepy surrealism.

David W (nl) wrote: The 2 lead performers (Hopkins & Mirren) were perfect, but the film was just average I'm afraid.

Seth U (mx) wrote: Another great urban drama. There are parts of the movie that drag and the acting isn't always up to par. It's along the same lines of every other urban drama, but what others lack in a moral at the end, this one helps to shows what can happen with one wrong decision. Good movie, with a good message.

Ethan P (mx) wrote: The historical characters are funny and interesting and Night at the Museum is an entertaining, mostly average entry into the family comedy genre.
