David T (de) wrote: Fun and smart movie. Worth it for a few great scenes- the scene where Sally Hawkins tells off her husband for acting as though caring for the family rather than abusing them makes him special, is a great scene. It's about a fight for equal pay and equal rights that is still going on
Tony K (br) wrote: A giant mummy with a mullet makes life crappy for Casper Van Dien, Robert Wagner, and Tom "Mr. Cunningham" Bosley. Really dreadful made-for-cable hooey.
Sui J (br) wrote: This is a very enjoyable movie if you ever had the chance to see it watch it. It explains alot about histor.

Dominic P (fr) wrote: What was Anthony Hopkins thinking? It is embarrassing to see a top actor making a monkey of himself. Gooding Jr is typically dreadful in this dire movie featuring shameless Shawshank rip offs.
Lydia K (jp) wrote: Not the best movie in a sense, but oddly enjoyable.

Brian S (au) wrote: A low budget Hammer Productions. Although some parts of the movie can really be boring, The Quatermass Experiment can be a good film when you are looking for cheesy acting and plot. It's takes a while to develop though but in the end it's sort of worth it cause you just watched a classic sci-fi British B movie.

Tatjana V (mx) wrote: This film is a wonderful, if what we now think of as stereotypically English, mystery. Alastair Sim was entrancing in his incredibly naturalistic performance as Inspector Cockrill. His performance would not have seemed out of place today. He must have been a phenom at the time! The script was very tight and had some of the same qualities of "The Lady Vanishes". An unusual aspect to the film is the intermittent bombing present throughout and the affect the sound had on the characters. I imagine the entire country must have been shell shocked by the time the war ended! For an excellent mystery, this is definitely recommended.
Mary M (gb) wrote: For a modern western, this film maintains a true old west feel while subplots support some interesting quirks in the main characters. Protagonist Ed Harris, cowboy-rugged, yet mysterious, displays unexpected vulnerability and insight opposite his love interest, artsy and eccentric leading lady Rene Zellweger.
Matthew L (nl) wrote: Nazis are not funny. Walter Brennan is not serious. Fritz Lang made many wonderful films. This is not one of them.
