Alex V (ca) wrote: More of the same. Dirty cops and rival yakuza groups try to outsmart each other and then occasionally somebody gets assassinated. Slower, with much less mayhem and black comedy than the original. Feels like all the surviving characters from before are exhausted and only trying to murder each other out of obligation. The ending resolves nothing. --5.5/10--

Gimly M (gb) wrote: Puddle Cruiser is Broken Lizard's first foray in to the film world, and though it would be many years until they brought us their masterpiece "Super Troopers", Puddle Cruiser is still an interesting watch. It has less comedic value than any of their films to follow, and it is only in the characters of Matt and Grogan that you can see the trademark stoner humour that Broken Lizard would come to represent. Puddle Cruiser is more of your typical 90's "teen movie" a little bit of comedy, a little bit of romance, some coming of age themes and someone gets beaten up. That formula runs through the film and it works, it just doesn't work spectacularly.

Iago is the main character in this movie 4. None of the jokes are funnyAnd finally number 5 ... GILBERT GOTTFRIED SINGING!!!!And I also forgot to mention that the animation is crap. And it sucks to not have robin Williams as the genie.Really? Homer Simpson as the genie really? And I don't get why disney has to make a direct to video sequels to every single disney movie from the disney renaissance and movies that are like 50 or 60 years old. So the point is this sequel sucks bad.

The original music score was composed by John Barry. The film was to have originally been titled The Death of Robin Hood but was changed by Columbia Pictures to be more marketable, and perhaps give equal billing to HepburnThe film was generally given positive reviews by critics. Roger Ebert was positive towards Connery and Hepburn as Robin and Marian although he was uncertain about "history repeating itself" in regards to the plot. According to Ebert, "What prevents the movie from really losing its way, though, are the performances of Sean Connery and Audrey Hepburn in the title roles. No matter what the director and the writer may think, Connery and Hepburn seem to have arrived at a tacit understanding between themselves about their characters. They glow. They really do seem in love. And they project as marvelously complex, fond, tender people; the passage of 20 years has given them grace and wisdom." He also approved of the cinematography of the film in comparison to early films of the genre noting that, "Lester photographs them with more restraint than he might have used 10 years ago. His active camera is replaced here by a visual tempo more suited to bittersweet nostalgia. He photographs Sherwood Forest and its characters with a nice off-hand realism that's better than the pretentious solemnity we sometimes get in historical pictures."Robin and Marian holds a 76% rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on 29 reviews.man this is such an entertaining movie 2 watch, it is such a good enjoyable romantic movie 2 watch, with a good cast throughout this movie......I think that this is such an enjoyable movie 2 watch, I think that this is such a really well written/acted/directed movie 2 watch, with a good cast throughout this movie....it is such an enjoyable movie 2 watch with a good cast throughout this movie.......
