Count Yorga, Vampire

Sixties couples Michael and Donna and Paul and Erica become involved with the intense Count Yorga at a Los Angeles séance, the Count having latterly been involved with Erica's just-dead mother. After taking the Count home, Paul and Erica are waylayed, and next day a listless Erica is diagnosed by their doctor as having lost a lot of blood. When she is later found feasting on the family cat the doctor becomes convinced vampirism is at work, and that its focus is Count Yorga and his large isolated house.

Count Yorga, Vampire torrent reviews

Richard S (au) wrote: Tarzan was a character who first got me interested in superheroes as a kid. I used to watch the old black and white movies and was amazed by this seemingly indestructible man who had control over the animals. Therefore it was with great interest that I watched this update. As an adventure movie it's quite entertaining but also instantly forgettable and that is down to the lead actor who compared with past incarnations is a little bland. The special effects were mixed, I thought the CGI beasts looked great but then making Alexander Skarsgaard look younger for the flashback sequences didn't look so good. Christoph Waltz was a decent enough bad guy but then does he ever play anything else? He could phone in his bad guy performances from now. Overall it was an entertaining couple of hours but this isn't a potential franchise or sequel worthy which is a shame because jungle based adventure movies can still be great, as seen by the recent Jungle Book remake.

Paula M (br) wrote: Awful movie--poor acting --watched with grandkids for the action --but there was sunshine in the middle of the worst storm ever--no leaves moving--acting unconvincing -- after 35 minutes we were saying is there anything else we can watch. We give it 1/2 star and that is only because it was fun to take it apart--poor editing--very lame.
