Mark H (mx) wrote: Actually quite good. Paddy !!!!!,!,

Emma T (ru) wrote: Hilarious canter through first love on the streets of NYC...an inspirational shot in the arm as my enthusiasm for my tribute photography collection was waning. AMAZEBALLS!

Bruce D (ag) wrote: Awful, 49kc bucket special. Still it was money badly spent. Macho acting at its worst. Predictable gibberish for a script and throughly boring experience. Back to a bin, the rubbish bin!

Film C (mx) wrote: Great reviews however found it to be an uninspiring suspense drama making me feel nothing but boredom!

Wade H (mx) wrote: A stellar performance from Cruise. One of the best war stories of the 20th century. Certainly overlooked by a sea of others.

Alexander C (jp) wrote: Could watch this sometime if i can find.

Jim P (gb) wrote: Saw this at the drive-in on it's first release, and still a fun flick to watch. Rubber bodies, rubber silicates and Peter Cushing make for a few unintentional smiles, some good creepy moments and good late nite fun...

Christine P (au) wrote: A whimsical comedy with a touch of heart, starring Charles Coburn as a wealthy businessman nearing the end of his empty life, who decides to get to know the family he could have (but never) had of his own. It's a very charming movie with a great performance by all, especially Coburn. Recommended

Martha F (fr) wrote: this is sooo not new moon!!!!...lol

Josh M (ca) wrote: There are some good action moments. The skydiving aspect added a good sense of fun to the action. This is not up there with the top action films, but is a worthy watch.

Spencer H (br) wrote: Enemy at the Gates is a great war film, but a terrible romance movie.

Michael M (jp) wrote: Relies a bit too heavily on homage and retread, some of the twists and conclusions feel too convenient and coincidental, and the villain's motivation is a bit hard to follow. I mention these things right off the bat because they're really the only faults I have with the movie. They keep it from perfection, but not from immense enjoyment. This is a spectacularly thrilling movie. Even if some of the conclusions aren't the greatest, the ride getting there is sure as hell a fun time. I liked seeing the developing friendship between Spock and Kirk, and even though a certain scene between them was definitely a retread it still had the emotional heft to make it impactful. Also, it's just a ton of fun. It's visually spectacular and has a great sense of adventure. The flaws are there, sure, but they're mostly just minor annoyances in an otherwise great movie.

Kaleb S (it) wrote: The one star is for the bomb. Best part of the film. Still better than I Frankenstein.

The Critic (es) wrote: A clever bit of noir for a contemporary audience that doesn't lose impact with the passing of time. Linda Fiorentino is perfectly cast as the femme fatale of piece, offering a captivating performance that keeps viewers' attention where it should be, and is supported well by Peter Berg and Bill Pullman. Directed with flair by John Dahl.
