Shane S (mx) wrote: A fantastic action film. It has several great scenes, and Antonio Banderas is a great villain. Sly is good as always. This is a very smart action film.

Daniel O (ca) wrote: A beautiful and moving story about family, regret, and redemption. Incredibly powerful and a visual masterpiece.

Mike N (es) wrote: it sounded like a interesting idea but it lost my interest pretty quickly.

Alex K (ca) wrote: A scavenger hunt movie that has its moments, like at the Pabst brewery. And look at the cast!

Bengel W (br) wrote: Frank does a great job of photography giving us a superb look at the 70s in raw hard perfection. Script is tuff and gives a strong storyline without compromising the characters. Americans get shot at frequently and die slowly giving a thrill that is not often seen in modern movies. Though the background scenery dates the film it still holds its own to any modern equivalent. Jard M (de) wrote: Another Hitchcock film I stumbled upon which I liked, but not as much as some of his others. The antagonist in this movie is so damned annoying, I don't know whether that is a good thing or not, but it does raise an interesting point of how far can the rules of confessional go and I guess the real story here isn't the murder but the relationship between Clift and Baxter's character and the murder victim. It all unravels and it's pretty entertaining although i wouldn't put it at the top of my favourite Hitchcock films, although that's nothing to really be ashamed of.
