Ramon R (au) wrote: aunque Juan Fernandez no se parece a trujillo hizo tremendo papel. the rest of the movie is just ok

Eliabeth S (jp) wrote: This movie grabbed me while switching channels and not being highly motivated to do something else. And I rarely watch TV. It was that kind of overdone, over the top kind of movie that struck a chord. Kind of like "Cecil B. Demented" -- you can't look away. I did enjoy getting inside the director's head. Performances good, but the director had to tie it all together. Entertaining. Silly, shrill, perfect for Friday night in a state of exhaustion and musculo-skeletal pain.

Niccol N (kr) wrote: One of Hitchcock's finest films, and one of my personal favourites. What did they really think was with it at the time ? It's very psychological (well, Hitchcock after Psycho), and reminescent of Vertigo. 64-year-old still manages to keep the tension high when it's needed, and proves he becomes better the older he gets. Bernard Herrmann's last great score for Hitch (unless, of course, the unused one for the following "Torn Curtain")

Andrew L (ru) wrote: After the almost spectacle-like action & excitement of 'Goblet Of Fire', 'Order Of The Phoenix' seemingly tones itself down, yet as the film progresses it builds up a vicious tension - notably created by the threats of Voldemort & Prof. Umbridge. Scenes like the 'point-of-view' snake attack on Mr. Weesley, & the forced self-inflicted torture of students prove that this is no longer a child-friendly series of films. I have no intention of reading the book, yet despite it's dark themes, set pieces & character sub-plots - the narrative feels too stark leaving me with the impression that a very fat book has been stripped to the bare essentials maybe rather too drastically. Another continuing problem is that the cardboard acting (from a large majority of the cast) further hinders the series.

Logan T (mx) wrote: A highly underrated film in the series,it also has one of the best villains in the series.

Grant H (au) wrote: Pretty good movie. Look, the story is nothing new, the characters have a hard time being likable, and the plot itself is very formulaic, but the dialogue itself isn't half-terrible and pretty funny, and the performances from the cast are solid.

Hanna P (mx) wrote: This movie pulled on all my heart string. One of my favorite sparks movies, i loved all the mini flashbacks into what life used to be like and how the war affected couples.
