Nancy L (ag) wrote: This was an excellent movie and so very well done. It should be required viewing for every parent in America. If you think you know the story - think again and see this movie! I learned much more than anticipated. And it really opens your eyes to what could easily happen in your very own community. I was glued the entire time and had to pick my jaw up out of my lap quite a few times. Go see this movie!! Highly recommend!!!

Derek M (mx) wrote: great cast, really supports the whole story.the plot however is kind of weak and flat. The cinematography turns the script into a nice work and the cliche formula of the genre is sophisticatedly adjusted with the new twist of criticism of the rapid modernisation of mainland China.

Kevin G (ru) wrote: 48%? Bullshit. City By The Sea went underrated and unnoticed. This film is great, ignore what the stupid critics say. The whole main cast and supporting make this films stand out with their incredibly strong performances. De Niro really hones his character and it really sticks with me when I think about his roles. That, and "I have nipples too Greg, can you milk me?"

Mighty C (kr) wrote: As with everyone else, sometimes, it gets pretty easy for me to forget how good I really have it in life. Every time I watch this movie, & hear the part when Anne writes in her diary of her waiting for things to get back to normal, as a viewer who knows that for her it never will, it serves as a great reminder to me that not taking things for granted is an act of appreciation that should never wait until tomorrow. The footage included that is the only existing footage of Anne, only serves to enhance the importance of this lesson of gratitude.

Lotti K (gb) wrote: One of my favorite movies from childhood and a hilarious time-capsule of the 70's. It probably benefitted last night from being watched after A*P*E, but I got a lotta yuks out of it 30 years later. "Children of the night... Shut up!" Classic!

Private U (mx) wrote: Ultra-cheap but very creepy Monogram programmer with Lugosi giving an excellent performance. The ending is kind of silly, but scary in a surrealistic, nightmare-logic kind of way.

David J L (ca) wrote: a zombie film with a slightly more creative storyline, nicely directed in parts

David A (ca) wrote: it has its moments but overall its not that funny and its kinda boring not de niros best

Brett A (us) wrote: It is really dated now in terms of hackers etc. But back before we knew much about the hacking world this was a really good movie - well acted and an interesting bunch of turnaround.
