Bloodmarsh K (mx) wrote: It's one of those really bad thrillers, that has to depend solely on the twist ending to keep viewers interested - the only problem is, you'd have to be a complete moron not to guess it. I had it figured out after watching the trailer, but for the really stupid people, they decided to add in yet another accident scene (Campfire Tales/Dead End/The Reeker/The Sixth Sense.) The problem with this twist, other than it being overused - after the credits roll, you'll realize you just watched the movie for nothing. Unless, of course, like I said, you're really stupid... then you get the pleasure of saying 'gee, I didn't see that coming.' It's time to let this 'twist' rest in peace.

Leo L (it) wrote: An interesting movie! Filled with despair and tragedy for one man who loved his childhood sweetheart for several years, but couldn't do anything for her marriage to another embarks. Intriguing story plot. Sadly, the tales of the two in this movie is so intertwined that you feel remorse for them both. Great performances by Aishwarya Rai and Ajay Devgan.
Eric R (nl) wrote: Gyorgy Palfi's debut feature is a very cool murder mystery, where we are shown a small Hungarian village, and the seemly daily routines of various members of the community. The film is a murder mystery, and it unfolds with nearly any dialogue; but Palfi elects to let his imagery tell the story instead. The pacing is a little slow but the film is so damn beautiful, I barely minded. Gyorgy Palfi is a very talented director, and between this and the underrated film, Taxidermia, I can't wait to see what Palfi does next.

Alex A (es) wrote: 48 HRS is a solid buddy-cop-thriller starring Eddie Murphy in his debut role as a streetwise parolee and Nick Nolte as a seasoned, bitter cop. The premise is very simple and easy to follow, intense moments are spread around the film and the pacing is indeed brisk thanks to top-notch chemistry between it's lead duo who play off each other so well. Even though I felt the ending was kind of weak and the racist dialogue seemed out of place at times and unnecessary, 48 HRS entertained nonetheless and never bored me once within it's running time.
