(mx) wrote: Very 'british' humour and multifaceted style, with various subplots, microplots allegory and satire. Therefore not an obviopus candidate for the mainstream international multiplex, but actually quite accessible to anyone, anywhere who can just enjoy the slapstick and parody, leaving the subtleties to those cooky brits. Something for everyone really - direct links into theatre/drama, meaasges for teachers and parents who care to listen, but not at the Quadropheia or Look Back in Anger/ 'Room at the Top' level of analysis of teenage angst and rebellion. So probably more directly identifiable to the average teen viewer. Parents will hate it - Good? Best of all - this melange of inexperienced young talent with mature innovative 'old hands' should start a whole new catalogue of derivative material.
