(nl) wrote: You have to watch them in the correct order, not when they were released. 3 ninjas & 3 ninjas knuckle up were filmed at the same time around 91/92'. but if you look it up it will tell you knuckle up is the 3rd one from 1995. WRONG. why would they have actors in 1 movie switch them. and then switch back. The 1st one & Knuckle up have all the same actors. KICK BACK should be the 3rd one in the order and that's always how I watched them as a kid. Evan Bonifant & Sean Fox fill in as Tum Tum & Rocky and in my opinion are much better than the original (chad power/Michael treanor). Colt is always the same.I enjoy the first 2 though (3 ninjas & Knuckle up) it's a good time, the dance scene with the indians fun stuff. Plus use common sense here, Victor wong is much older in kick back than Knuckle up.
(mx) wrote: paradise parade,This was an excellent film that explored varying western approaches and haphazard attempts to deal with pre-civilized tribes. It was fascinating watching self-possessed evangelical missionaries embark in an insane endeavour to convert natives only to go wildly insane themselves. This juxtaposed by one man's equally insane attempt to assimilate. The vivid splendour of the landscape and the film lures us into a dark nightmare. Beautifully shot. A naked Kathy Bates in a delirious jungle dance. Darryl Hannah in the buff. Stoic Catholic priests who gave up the cause long ago. Utopian primitivism. Excellent soundtrack. Tom Waits. 9.9/10.
(kr) wrote: Dead psychic vampire raises the dead to torment a girl trapped in a mausoleum. Okay, sure. A little slower-paced than I would like. Also, the subplot with the dead psychic's daughter listening to his tapes is pretty dull. We get a dash of suspense and gore in the last 20 minutes, though. Not much, I'm afraid. The cast is at least attractive and somewhat talented.
