But it wakes you up in the end with one of the greatest end-of-movie shocks ever! And I also felt that the movie itself was rushed through. Overall, average.

(de) wrote: This direct-to-video cautionary tale about our incessant need for security reforms taking over our personal freedoms had the potential for being a smart B-movie scifi film. Unfortunately, about half-way through it loses its momentum and turned into something that not even the Scyfy channel would have made. The effects were practical - the "eyeborg" machines were shot using stop-motion! So if you're a fan of that, you might like it. But the 3rd Act finale's effects befuddled me. It's like they ran out of production money and threw the shots together out of glue and tape because they needed something. These scenes would have been cool in the 80's. But this is 2010 for crying out loud. I give two stars because I like robots and the news caster (Megan Blake) was hot. Other than that - do not waste your time renting this. Maybe wait for cable if you're really bored?

(ca) wrote: A cute little romantic comedy about all round athlete Katherine Hepburn & unscrupulous yet likeable Spencer Tracey as her promoter.Strangely this wasn't exactly what I expected but nonetheless an enjoyable film largely due to their charisma on screen. It was as comic as I thought it would be but still was interesting to unravel & see a more much physical than usual performance from Mrs Hepburn. A cute little comedy that is worth the watch...

The naivety of these boys is charming especially when you mix heat with hormones. A good watch but not one that will stay with you for years afterwards.
