Carolyn G (ag) wrote: Great case, great performances, great music, great dancing. What's not to love? Sure, it's cheesy and cliche and stereotypes badly but it is still a fun return to the era of 80s country. Good times!
Jason T (ca) wrote: It's predictable, poorly acted and directed TV entertainment. It tries to tell an interesting story but everything is so cheesy and stagey it comes off as big bore.

Christopher H (au) wrote: Starts off well enough with a thrilling first-half and benefits greatly from the hilarious chemistry between Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson. Unfortunately, the movie doesn't keep it's momentum going, suffering from a second-half littered with dull un-inventive action sequences and lots of plot holes. Simon was definitely a better central villain than what we were given in "Die Hard 2" and Jeremy Irons delivers a good performance, but what was lacking was the tense hero-villain dynamic of the first movie. An overall okay-isn action movie that delivers on some decent action and humor, but I can't help but feel this could have been so much better.

Allan C (ru) wrote: Fairly routine heist film is vastly elevated by the presence of Kurt Russell in the lead. Without Russell, and also without supporting performances by Jay Baruchel, Matt Dillon, and Terence Stamp, this "Ocean 11's" wannabe about an art heist would likely not have been worth watching. I'm probably never going to re-watch this film, but Kurt Russell is alway worth watching no matter what film he's in (i.e. "3000 Miles to Graceland"). If anything, this film is a testament to the great of a screen presence and charm of Russell.
