Paul D (gb) wrote: A nice take on friendship and the effect of a third party, especially as this is an indie film and there's no requirement for a commercially suitable screenplay.

Chris T (gb) wrote: Nice little story, but somewhat feels incomplete in which you're left with two dimensional characters.

Autumn F (nl) wrote: It was okay I wish there was more to the plot and more background.

Jules H (us) wrote: Pretty silly, acting wasnt brilliant...pretty bad

Michael B (de) wrote: For once the tagline for a movie is an accurate synopsis because Nowhere is "a Beverly Hills 90210 episode on acid." Gregg Araki's "Nowhere" has an ensemble cast of who's-who from the late 1990s teen stars (James Duvall, Rachel True, Mena Suvari, Ryan Phillippe, Heather Graham, Guillermo Diaz) as perverse, vulgarly inarticulate, Californian hipster nihilists. Some of the best worst dialogue in the history of film, bisexual fantasies, alien abductions, murder by a can of Campbell's tomato soup, cyber punk carjacking gangs, beefcake drag queens and a cameo by Rose McGowan, Shannon Doherty and Traci Lords as three vacuous valley girls who argue and gossip about each others dates before being vaporized by an alien leaving only their retainers and high heels behind. AMAZING!!!!

Michael H (br) wrote: Disappointing is one bad word out of many to describe this movie, The cast looked so promising but it delivered nothing but bad taste. The action scene's looked so much out of depth, Its like a terrible mixture of western and gangster, something that may go wrong or even right, this one goes wrong. Disapprove.

Patrick L (fr) wrote: I doubt that I will see this film but since I no longer have a profile section on which to relate about films that I like but that aren't on here (or about tv shows) then I will "hijack" this spot here to mention one episode of Dark Angel which stars Jessica Alba (I have two seasons on dvd and it is one of my new favorites).Essentially Dark Angel is the story of a "super" human female who is genetically superior to most humans, part of experiments by a shadowy organization. Some of them escape and live on the run. Max works as a courier and also breaks and enters to steal from rich, evil people. She comes across yes Only and becomes part of his battle against oppression.Dark Angel season two "Brainiac" is arguably the best and most noble tv episode ever made. Max meets a guy who is large, a bit strange and apparently in love with her though she is sure they have never met.Brian turns out to be fellow X series and he is like a military strategist and general. He proves a brave warrior and able soldier and ultimately gives his life for Max's. The actor who portrays Brian is brilliant and imbues his character with nobility. 10/10.

Cindy I (it) wrote: Another 86 minutes of wild antics with Harold Lloyd. There is a loose story about Harold's -- called Harold "Speedy" Swift here -- fiancee's grandfather's milk delivery wagon and a plot by an unscrupulous railroad tycoon to put him out of business. But none of that really matters. Any Harold Lloyd film's main appeal is the action, and this one is no exception. There are sight gags, car chases, a street fight, comic misunderstandings during a trip to Coney Island, and a hilarious bit in which Babe Ruth -- yep, THAT Babe Ruth -- is riding in cabdriver/baseball fanatic Speedy's cab. Speedy is so excited that the Babe is in his cab that he turns around in his seat to gawk and talk, oblivious in his excitement to the chaos his inattention and erratic driving is causing on the streets of New York City. Much of the outdoor action was filmed on location, and there is some wonderful footage of NYC as it looked in the 1920s. As always, everything works out happily in the end for Harold and company. This is a fun movie with some heart suitable for the whole family....except -- am I the only one who's noticed that Speedy flips himself the bird in a funhouse mirror at Coney Island? I had to run the film back 4 times to review the scene and to make sure I saw what I thought I saw!
