Jake M (jp) wrote: Hands down the worst Marvel movie ever. Words cannot describe how much I hated The Hulk, Ang Lee isn't that good of a director and The Hulk is proof of that. Jennifer Connelly and Nick Nolte are the only two good actors in this film and to be honest their talents are completely wasted in this film. Out of the three Hulks there have been Eric Bana is down right the worst of them all. Ang Lee has one semi descent film under his belt which is Life of Pi and thats pretty much it and even that film I could barely sit through, however it wasn't nearly as bd as this film was. Luckily for fans of The Hulk we have had two great performances from Edward Norton, and Mark Ruffalo which if you ask me is hard to chose which one is better. If you were disappointed with this garbage film than watch The Incredible Hulk (2008) you will be much more satisfied.

Martin T (br) wrote: The story of a team of con artists. Roberto (Franco Fabrizi) is a playboy type, who wants to be a singer but is perfectly comfortable leading the swindler life. Picasso (Richard Basehart) is a would-be painter whose wife (Giulietta Masina) is fed up with his lies. Augusto (Broderick Crawford) is an aging father who is tired of the lifestyle and ashamed to face his estranged daughter. I would classify everything about this film as "good": the acting is good, the characters are good, the story is good, the cinematography is good, the Nino Rota score is good. Not among Fellini's masterpieces, but without any glaring drawbacks. I was hoping for more of the Basehart/Masina plot (even though Basehart seems out of place) but they completely drop out of sight by the third act. The movie is short on the kind of memorable scenes one expects from Fellini, but the various swindles are entertaining and the ending is superb. I actually imagine that a Hollywood remake of this movie could be pretty good.

Dana G (gb) wrote: There is probably one of the worst fight scenes I have ever seen in there. The acting was awful, and the men were all wearing the same clothing I couldn't tell them apart which made this already confusing story more impossible to watch.
