Ian M (es) wrote: Almost as fabulous as the first one. The new characters were genius but I hated that the minions lost their comedy for a while. They almost made up for it at the end. Comedy, heroics & humanity. Such a great series for the whole family.
Anna C (br) wrote: A paranormal thriller: the plot is not bad, but the cast is quite inappropriate except for the long time professionals Christopher Lloyd and Adam Baldwin... I must say that it's a movie easy to forget.
M C (es) wrote: How disappointing can this get?? The 6th one only worked with bad F/X because the spotlight was on people, but this crappy movie tries to show off its awful F/X like a child bringing a chewed up action figure in for show and tell. That's pretty much what this movie is, I mean Retro PM was better! 16/100

Daniel P (it) wrote: Also known as Lepers in some countries, Sweet Jane is a fairly ordinary story about drug addiction, prostitution and HIV/AIDS, brought to life by a superb performance by Samantha Mathis (Pump Up The Volume, American Psycho) and equally capable support by Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Plainly directed and with a dowdy color scheme, the film succeeds in its first hour at showing a descent into a kind of hell on earth, before turning into a mawkish and sentimental movie-of-the-week in the final 25 minutes. The ending is also a little overplayed, though does allow for some nice symmetry and some beautiful photography.
Jacob B (nl) wrote: The fight scenes feel like 'Tekken' at times and some moments feel rushed. But just ignore the badly made computer effects and you will see that this is a well made movie that looks and feels exactly like a 'Mortal Kombat' movie should.

Thomas C (br) wrote: It's almost impossible to believe that Leone hit two perfect movies in a row. But he did. Once Upon a Time in West shows different aspects than its predecessors, and doesn't hide a vein of nostalgia for the "good old times" from the perspective of the protagonists, who feel the time of their kind is gone with the beginning of uprising of technology.
Ryan G (au) wrote: I'm surprised that so many people went nuts over this film. Boudu isn't intriguing, the guy is just kind of an asshole, and he had exhausted my patience before the third act could even start. This is a perfect example of a movie where nothing happens to anybody so we never get to see what anyone's made of.
Vuk O (it) wrote: Try watching Encino Man on a Sunday morning, you'll feel great. It's a dumb, fun comedy that doesn't present itself as anything more than that, and it serves its purpose perfectly. Mikey from Goonies stars as a high school loser who digs up a frozen caveman (a pre-Airheads Brendan Fraser) while digging a pool in his backyard, and with the help of his hippie best bud Stoney (Pauly Shore with the right dose of annoying) they pass him off as a foreign exchange student. Seems legit, right? Sure, Mikey also has to get the perfect girl who's in love with a jock douchebag, but that't pretty much it. You get appearances by Mikey's Goon-friend Data, Robert Trujillo also pops up, as well as a bunch of actors you know from other comedies of the late-eighties-to-early-nineties period. In the genre of stupid comedies, Encino Man is highly enjoyable, much due to its cast of young enthusiastic actors, some of whom would later become stars, washed up stars, or simply Hollywood mainstays. Maybe it's a bit dated because it's full of cliches, doesn't poke fun at political correctness and has no social satire or vulgarity which are crucial elements of modern comedies, but Encino Man is definitely gnarly, awesome and rad.
