Paul S (au) wrote: So lately I've been really checking out everything Jamie Kennedy has done, and this is not his best work. The cover may lead you to believe that he's more a part of the movie than he is. This is B movie material. I won't say anything nice about the movie. I was so incredibly bored after a while that I fast forwarded just to watch Jamie. Frankly, for me, a few moments with Jamie were the best this movie has to offer. He seemed like one of the few real professionals involved in this project. It makes me think that he took this job not because it was creatively worthwhile, but rather because he needs the work. It's bothers me because Jamie is an exceptional and underrated talent. I thought that this seemed beneath him talent wise. The dude deserves better roles than this. The movie itself is pretty dreadful and unmemorable. Perhaps some folks will take a step toward better work with this movie, but it is a pretty bad flick that I would say isn't worth anyone's time to watch, unless you're Jamie's biggest fan, like me! I'm interested in the dude's career path, so?

Danielle K (au) wrote: i cant believe only 10 people on the whole of flixter have seen this! a proper 1 shop jobby but i have seen much much worse! i liked the bit where the policewoman fainted and some of the poor acting made me giggle. i probably wouldnt watch it again tho.

Sean D (ag) wrote: I feel like I've seen this before. I probably have and forgot. This entire film takes place on one planet, at first it's your typical Praying Mantis like-creature fights than it goes completely random when a new breed is discovered that's essentially a parasite and starts infecting the whole base. You got your typical war moral conflicts. I like to look at this series as some futuristic spoofing war film. This one is fairly different from the other 3, and it's not a bad thing. You can only entertain people for so long just showing people fighting bugs.

Donald D (jp) wrote: Strange, experimental, and intelligent. Extremely stylized, a little ahead of its time as well as too artistic to have become a blockbuster, but a worthwhile watch.

Bobby B (es) wrote: Even for Robert Altman, Images is pretty strange. This is one of Altman's most obscure films, and while it's definitely not among his best it's also a bit of a hidden gem (if a rough one). The visuals and music are haunting and beautiful, and in its best moments Images is brilliantly strange and creepily disorienting. There's at least a handful of scenes that are perfectly done, but also plenty of awkward moments - Altman definitely isn't a natural born horror director. Images is far too uneven and un-scary to be too much more than a 'nice try', but I still had fun watching it. It's too playfully bizarre and inventive to be anything less than fascinating.
