Borhan K (au) wrote: The Sessions is a story about a man with a disability. He contracts Polio from a young age and is bedridden because of this and the movie tells us the touching story about his journey in life.If you read the blurb about the movie or watch the trailer you will only see the main story that Mark wanted to have sex with a women. This movie goes in more depth than just having sex with a women. The movie explores physical and emotional intimacy that a person with a disability has and goes through. The movie also shows a friendship and relationship between Mark his carers his Priest and his Sex Surrogate. The movie really tells and shows the real ement of the emotional intimacy that is created between 2 people regardless of the relationship may having started to being one thing and it leads to much much more.John Hawkes & Helen Hunt put in Oscar winning performances. This movie is not an easy movie to watch even for me that has a disability and can relate not completely but to some degree. This movie is not for everyone and should be watched with an open heart and mind. The journey Mark takes in his real life may have been seen from you and I as miniscule however for Mark this was a massive magnificent triumph.Give the movie a shot you will be amazed but if you feel its too much for you stay away. The movie deals with a very hard and in depth adult theme and should not be seen by anyone below 18 from my call but the movie states 15 and above. The movie has great heart and soul. One of the best movies I have seen in a long time.

Cody B (mx) wrote: The movie is good at times. The movie is sad but very well put together. Adam is great. This isn't a movie that he is would normally play well in my opinion but he proved me wrong once again. He is one of the few actors who I guess really can play any role.. the small things in this movie are what are good.
Joel H (ca) wrote: Sgt. Bilko is ridiculous, yet entertaining. Despite the absurd story and cheesy acting, there are some pretty funny jokes in this movie. No, it's not Steve Martin's, Dan Aykroyd's or Phil Hartman's best work, but it's fun to see them play off of each other. This isn't a bad movie, it's just not a great movie.
Maksim B (ca) wrote: An embarrassingly bad movie, Man of The House is one of those deliveries that are suitable only for Saturday/Sunday morning showing on a family friendly TV channel. Dull, absurd and certainly far from being funny, this is a painful to watch comedy which better be avoided. Tommy Lee Jones is the Texas Ranger Lt. Roland Sharp who is on an undercover mission as a cheerleading coach. When an important informant is killed and several cheerleaders from his team become witnesses, the scope of Lee's job changes as he has to protect them. This results in a chain of supposedly funny events following the fact that a conservative Texas Ranger should be taking care of several young, energetic students. Everything in Stephen Herek's movie is below the level of mediocrity and could be even considered offending for the average movie-goer. The story is absurd and filled with to so much stereotyping that in the end you may be totally bored, acting is poor as well and even though Tommy Lee Jones delivers his typical grumpy performance, this is not enough to make the movie even partially watchable. In conclusion, even if you find yourself on a coach, scrolling through the TV channels with nothing to do (just like me) and see this movie being shown: just skip the channel.

Some day I want to say, "As long as they've got sidewalks, you've got a job!" and kick someone out the door just like Joan Blondell.
