Door to Door
Sometimes the true heroes in our lives are those people who inspire us not with their superhuman accomplishments but simply by their refusal to give up in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds and the dignity in which they go about their lives. Bill Porter is one of those heroes. Born with cerebral palsy, he was told for many years that he was unemployable. But with the unwavering support of a dedicated mother and an indomitable spirit that has become his trademark, Porter did support himself as a door-to-door salesman in Portland, Ore.

(ca) wrote: Arundhati is a awesome Telugu horror/thriller film. The movie reminded a lot of Chandramukhi, but that story was different. The cast was really good. I loved Anushka's performance and Sonu Sood's acting was outstanding too!The story is thrilling, but also interesting because you learn about all these rituals, agora's and stuff. The effects were good too and I loved the inside of the old fort with all it's glory. The clothes and jewellery that they used were gorgeous aswell.I enjoyed watching this.

(mx) wrote: This daytime movie was referenced in an episode of the Gilmore Girls. Lorelai's description of it sums up how awesome it is: "Rosie O'Donnell plays a retarded woman who's obsessed with riding the bus and Andie MacDowell is her uptight, big city sister. And it gets better. In the ads I saw, the Rosie character was calling herself the Sheriff, and she was bragging about her sex life, and buying toilet seats. And Anjelica Huston directed it."

(nl) wrote: Thought was gonna be a terrible film but it was the other way arround. Nice romantic comedy with interesting performances and a nice script. He seems a bit "too much" at the begining but the performance improves as the rythm goes by. Good film.
(nl) wrote: I have mixed feelings about this movie. It's drastically different from the incredibly thoughtful and intellectual novel that shares its name, but it borrows some of the interesting portions of the novel and wraps them in that Paul Verhoeven satire that is so enjoyable. The serious nature of the original content is at odds with the irony of the film. Despite these conflicting feelings, I still decently enjoy the film.
