It's also interesting to see the influence the comic (and, presumably, this) had on the more recent Christopher Nolan 'Batman Begins', with one sequence in particular copied almost whole-sale to that movie!

But the truth is that this movie is a mess with 20 badly developed characters trying to say something relevant through 101 minutes - and failing. When all is said and done, only two of them (Fonseca's Dawn and Diaz's Brianne) are intriguing enough to deserve to be in a movie. And it's a shame that they have something like five minutes on screen, lost in a world of people who just talks about drugs and sex.

(kr) wrote: A goofy, funny Indie comedy where a comic veteran seeks to finally make the big stage of the Tonight Show after several unsuccessful attempts by traveling to a tiny Wisconsin town just outside Green Bay 2,000 miles from Los Angeles. The local characters are portrayed quite true to life, representing northern Wisconsin (and of course da U.P., eh? ya....) reasonably well. Funny all around comedy if you like the quirky comedies (deer jokes, drunken Packer fans, etc, etc...) Certainly not a perfect movie by any means but was fun to watch nevertheless.
