Deborah M (br) wrote: Points for originality and creativity but it was simply too disjointed to hold my interest, with not nearly enough backstory to make any of the characters rise above two-dimensional.

Karren M (ag) wrote: just like the first one with the Rock this one is still just as good

Matt W (br) wrote: Great film! The ambiguous, unresolved ending makes it even better!

Bram C (jp) wrote: It looks like the cast had a great time and loads of fun making this film. Unfortunatlly that fun doesn't transcend to the viewer.

Luis G (gb) wrote: All I remember is someone being killed with a boat. I could unearth the review I wrote at the time (for the "portuguese sun", TO), but what for?

Adam S (de) wrote: Eh. My parents were watching it, so I sat through it. I guess it could've been worse.

We J (br) wrote: Possibly the best all round movie ever. Good acting, good direction, good music, good comedy, good script, it even has a car chase. Top marks.

Shane D (fr) wrote: I star per boob creepily manhandled by a man dressed as a nurse pretending to listen to a heartbeat through a nipple. Despite the obvious upside to these T n A films from the 80s they are horrible to the core.

Alfonso E V (au) wrote: Nice film entertaining and funny.

Jack G (mx) wrote: A French remake of Persona by Alfred Hitchcock. In other news, mostly awesome. Only downside are those annoying gay roommates who just sit around bitching and playing bad avant-garde music. I understand Chabrol just wants to have comedic side characters, sort of like the two guys in Shadow of a Doubt commenting on what's going on. But it just doesn't fit with the rest of the movie, except as a kind of counter-point to the lesbian angle (though even with that it's bi, and we never get fully that the two guys are actually gay). If it weren't for that, it might even be Chabrol's best film. It's a cold, erotically charged tale of jealousy that hits the spot for me.

Dane H (au) wrote: To this day, this film remains one of my favorites. The dialog between Hartnett and Liu's characters is fast-paced and witty. The plot will keep a new viewer guessing until the end. A bit surprised at the scores this has received!

Abel D (br) wrote: Shambolic and often incoherent, Manns daughter clearly proves talent isnt genetic. A shame as despite decent performances, poor camera work and muddled writing completely sink it.
