Linda B (ag) wrote: I was really looking foward to watching this film (rented through Amazon's Lovefilm Scheme) The two principal actors give great performances. The film looks gorgeous in terms of location and the clothes etc... The only drawback, practically non-existant English subtitles. A great shame because I enjoyed the film, despite its 101 minute duration. Only recommended if your french speaking abilities, aren't too rusty. I did struggle with this. 3.5 stars, would've been a clean 4 with better subtitles.

James H (ag) wrote: Not a bad story but I was never fully convinced by it. The acting is fine, not great but fine. Bland score, but it does have nicely deleloped characters that make you care. Better than average, a bit slow at times though.

Jeff B (kr) wrote: A quasi-Dirty Dozen movie from Korea that is actually based on a true story. (I decided to watch it strictly because it had been compared to the Lee Marvin classic...it wasn't until it started that I realized it was based on true events) Its a bit Bruckheimeresque in its delivery (especially the score) but its a good package for a story that is unfamiliar to Western audiences.

Holly H (mx) wrote: I don't care what the followers of the book say. It doesn't matter. I haven't read them yet, want to and am sure I will love them. But this is a movie. I don't see anything wrong with making up things for a movie. Anyway, I LOVE this series, Megan Follows is amazing, I love Gilbert, and this is one of THE best movies I have every seen! I didn't think it would measure up to the first two, but it did. I missed Marilla being there, of course, but it was still amazing.

Thullin K (jp) wrote: still to this day do not understand the hype surrounding this movie from friend's to movie enthusiast to stoners alike....... i've watched it, drunk, stoned and sober and still can't seem to grasp on to the humor.

Dane P (kr) wrote: Visually amazing this seriously looks great! Though George Lucas seems to ruin the imagery with loads of terrible CGI in the ONLY dvd copy! Sadly you can tell throughout the movie that nobody cared but the art director. Not to say creativity is there but the characters are very shallow and the story is too simple, it seems that nobody cared even when George Lucas added that atrocious CGI pretty much ruined the visuals but then visuals shouldn't be the only good point of a movie.
