The characters the director, Mark Wexler finds along the journey are quite unique and delightful to watch. And the great question that is asked throughout, "If there was a pill to live for 500 years, would you take it?" , makes you ask yourself if you would take the pill to be 500? This film has motivated me to become healthier and live a more fulfilling life. I find it will do the same for you.
Claire B (de) wrote: LOVED THIS MOVIE. God, why do indie films get the boot when some blockbuster shite gets an entire shelf to itself? I really liked the plot. The acting was good and the story was interesting and grabbed you from the beginning. Go get it and watch it and love it yourself.
Hardy H (mx) wrote: it's not a bad film or anything, but as a huge fan of the 3 kingdom era... this is kind of dissapointing.... and wasn't really a point to be made. Action is a bit silly, which is typical of John Woo. I just dont like his style that much....I would say skip-able.

Although film captures the look and feel of a direct to video release of the era, it does deliver. CHAINED HEAT title seemingly added to spur video rental turn and bears no relation to the earlier entries in the series.

Brandon S (mx) wrote: This movie was fun, uplifting entertainment that is trying way too hard to be a smart and unique film, and, once you realize that, it's totally enjoyable and a lot of fun to watch. The chemistry between Freddie Highmore and Emma Roberts carries the entire film with ease even when it divulged into a menagerie of romance cliches and poorly paced editing. I challenge anyone to watch this movie and not have a big, sappy smile slapped on your face! A sweet movie and a fun watch one time around!
