Jayakrishnan R (br) wrote: 86%Watched this on 2/5/16This is one of the most beautifully shot movies that I have ever seen and the film is not about some raw punk surfing, its a film about the sea just like how they tell you in the very beginning. So its fairly disappointing that the critics expected some slick surfing fest. The film is subtle and poignant at times, scary and breathtakingly beautiful at times as well. Its scripting is fine and the characters and the things that take outside the ocean doesn't take much of the film's time. The acting is also fantastic.

Loren O (it) wrote: This film is tough to watch, but it's beautifully made, with an interesting story and great acting. It's also worth watching just to see Michael Fassbender topless.

Yuriati T (ru) wrote: I still can't decide whether I love this or hate this. I personally would not call this a 'real' documentary. The subject was already deceased, and rather than making something similar to 'Dear Zachary', as in interviewing people who were involved in the subject's life, the director decided that he would do it like a movie (docu-drama). In which I find it unnecessary. It was over the top at some point, although I should have reminded myself that this documentary is extremely strange and disturbing because of the topic (bestiality). I was disappointed with the director's approach of the story, this documentary could really have been better without the dramatization.

Tony L (gb) wrote: Lewis and DiCaprio are amazing; however, the feeling of an overlong History channel special is not easily escaped.

PY C (es) wrote: Very twisted movie but in the end I don't see what's the lesson behind this movie.

Tim M (mx) wrote: It takes a lot for the Coen Bros to make a movie that isn't entertaining. 'O Brother Where Art Thou?' is engaging at times but it's very hit or miss. The cast is having fun which isn't unusual for a Coen flick, but it just didn't make me laugh and there were instances I was bored. Worthwhile for the performances and the supporting cast but we have come to expect better from Coen and Company. Final Score 5.7 of 10.
