Ian G (fr) wrote: Claiming to be a movie that is based on the story that inspired Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom is quite a claim - and Allan Quatermain and the Temple of Skulls fulfills this order and then some. Sporting long panning shots of beautiful scenery, a plot that makes surprising headway considering the total lack of dialogue and at least one gripping character (cumulatively) this film delivers exactly what we've come to expect from the writing team The Asylum. In fact, the best point of this movie is the long, silent scenes which The Asylum is famous for, encouraging you to add your own. And with enough visual cues, repititve shots of the four characters facial expressions and time innapropriate props. If you're looking for a movie to sit down with your friends and MST3K your way through, this is the film for you.

Adam E (ag) wrote: harmless 80's action. kinda like action force mixed with the a team. each character has a little quirk and they fight a bad guy from there super secret base. this is one of those films were even thou most of the place gets blown up no one dies. which to be frank was quite refreshing. shooting it mostly in the desert works as it means the machines can really let rip at the end. this is the best bit of the movie a full 15 or so minutes of people on futruistic bikes shooting missles and flares at at stationary tanks. it looks fablous :D to be honest the rest of the movie is enjoyable padding for this bit. everyone seems to have a nice time and it ends all happy. even the bad guy gets away. alas they dont make them like this anymore mores the pity.
Steve W (ru) wrote: This noir film is a bit bland at the beginning, but rather picks up about halfway through. The best parts were the juxtaposition with the background noise mixed in with what's happening onscreen. Also, the ending is very memorable, despite the bland protagonist.

Neil P (nl) wrote: This is a solid batman adventure that does a good job of highlighting his extended family of crime-fighters. It works better for those who've been following all of the Damian as robin animated movies as they are definitely connected. Some decent animation too. Better on the whole than the recent "killing joke" if I'm honest about it.
