Stacie H (kr) wrote: Great movie about a true story, it was compelling and the actors were amazing

Ajit Kumar S (it) wrote: Surprisingly entertaining!

Mr D (br) wrote: I didn't know that this was a video game movie. I thought it was some mma / martial arts movie with Jaime Pressly. Entertaining for what it is. Too bad it is pg13

Callum B (ca) wrote: so so so hilariously funny and such a great film.

Trey T (de) wrote: Can't help but love this movie. Plot is flawed, acting is weak, but jokes are a plenty and Neil Diamond!

Stuart M (us) wrote: Decent enough film, but fairly unmemorable. Has too many big action scenes with cgi creatures and not enough plot or time alone with the characters. Sinbad is fun and the crew who gambles on everything is fun, but everyone else is pretty bland. Also, wasn't Sinbad meant to be an Arab and not some pseudo-Greek?

Karen E (kr) wrote: This movie gets marks for cinematic appeal, but the historical inaccuracies were enough to make my eyes bleed.

Ryan K (au) wrote: The material is quite thin and it shows.

Kimi M (mx) wrote: Umberto Lenzi gives it some creepy looks with a house in the middle of no-where style thing... But still creepy, creative, Well acted but the dubbing is a bit of a mix but i enjoyed it!

Brad G (fr) wrote: "I'm not here to torture you, we have a man to do that." Supposedly set within the Roman Empire, Barbarian Queen is a T&A Exploitation Cheesefest filmed in Argentina with an international cast of poorly-dubbed but willing actors including savage women Lana Clarkson, Susana Traverso, and Dawn Dunlap as the Barbarian Queens kicking butt and slaying names in an effort to win back their men. Absolutely ridiculous but loads of fun for the right audience. VF.

Grant J (de) wrote: Yes, it moves at a glacial pace, but it's intentional. I'd say this is probably one of the most amazingly shot movies I've ever seen. It really takes you into the story.

Mitchell Z (mx) wrote: You Only Live Twice isn't the best Bond film, but it does feature some great action and the first facial appearance of Blofeld. Connery does a great job once again, but the film simply doesn't have the same spy movie feel as his first three outings as the character.

Augustine H (es) wrote: Woody Allen's love view has never changed and we may have all be very familiar about that. However, with the adept combination of mockmentory and intellectual charisma, he can always mesmerize us.

Matt B (ag) wrote: Telepathic communication with insects! A murderer butchering young girls at a boarding school! A chimp with a razor! Iron Maiden! All these things and more are in none else but Dario Argento's bizzare shocker, Phenomena. Certainly one of the strangest of the maestro's films Phenomena has grown on me quite a bit since I first saw it. The story is like a fairytale told by someone with a bad fever. That may sound like a dig but it's something I really sank my teeth into. The movie is more or less and fantasy-giallo movie in the vein of Suspiria. Like Suspiria it involves an American girl (Jennifer Connelly) in a foreboding and unfamiliar place. I love this movie despite all of its flaws and believe me it has them. I know so many people hate the heavy metal that pops in somewhat abruptly but I've grown to appreciate it as adding to the disorienting experience. I think this movies biggest flaw is having so many off-the-wall ideas but not seeing them through to their full potential. Like the insect telepathy. Phenomena is barmy, and absolutely deranged and I love every second of it! I would highly recommend it to someone who is a fan of Argento or surreal horror in general. Always see for yourself!
