Gabriel K (nl) wrote: The first 3/4 of the movie is great. The performances are stellar and the story is engaging, it's funny and tragic at the same time. Unfortunately, towards the end the movie feels rushed and heavy handed.
Andrew C (us) wrote: This is one of those movies where one event happens after another and you just follow it along. It got a certain way along when I realised that it wasn't going anywhere. It's well shot, well acted and reasonably engaging, but as it gets more and more violent and horrible we realise there's no real point to it all. In the end I found this movie deeply unsatisfying.
Ben R (us) wrote: Sea Monsters A Prehistoeric Adventure: 4.9/10 It's just really boring. It's only 40 minutes, and I still couldn't put up with it. I was never a big fan of Imax, and these effects are okay, but they were barely ever used. It's just. So. Boring.
Michael K (au) wrote: A few good ideas (like lot 22) and a lot of REALLY bad ideas (No Drew Barrymore, Changing the story from the GREAT 1st movie, and Rainbird SURVIVING! WTF!!!) combine to make a less than stellar miniseries/sequel to the 1984 classic starring the lovely Ms. Drew Barrymore. Too bad she didn't take this idea in hand as a producer and do it as a feature, it would have been FAR SUPERIOR to this drek :(

Sandor E (nl) wrote: This is the worst movie I've ever seen. Out of the 84 minutes 45 of them are clips from the first movie. Which is over half of both movies.
Jian G (us) wrote: Dead Silence has a promising premise, and effectively emulates the eerie retro look of horror classics. Unfortunately all this potential is squandered with a weak script, dull characters, non-scary kills, and a short 89 minute running time (5 minutes of which are spent on opening credits), all concluding with an uninteresting twist ending. Any creepy moments here are mild and intermittent.

Thomas K (fr) wrote: It's a wonderful film, but let's be honest, we're really here for Michelle Pfeiffer and Robert De Niro, who are thrilling and hilarious.
Niklas J (de) wrote: The opening scene is the only really good scene in the movie, but that scene alone make for half a star.
