Justin M (de) wrote: A very, a very, we'll say imaginative love story with too much ambition for its own good. Its obvious the crew bit off more than they could chew. From the jump you see a beautiful young lady with a gift/deformity depending on how you look at it but the CGI was atrocious. It was a huge distraction and takes you out of the scenes that it appears in. Not to mention it makes for a very awkward moment watching Rourke and Megan Fox make out. Other than that its got a cast chock full of characters you couldn't give a hoot about and some poor writing.

Ed M (de) wrote: Jennifer Love Hewitt is hot and it is displayed well in this movie. Many different outfits and undergarments. Joey Lawrence is a gay dude, so that's pretty funny. Not too bad, but I see why no one ever heard of it...

Mark H (de) wrote: This movie was very fascinating. It's depiction of a world that involves technology that we do not yet have, but is right around the corner, made it very believable. Likewise, it's portrayal of a society just a step or two ahead of ours in terms of its police state was frightening.

Michael S (it) wrote: It's been established here after watching this film that Peter Jackson smoked a lot of pot and did a lot of Crystal Meth. I just witness what the Muppets would be if they were high off of drugs and did a lot of sex, but for some reason I was pulled in to continue watching it. Granted I'm giving it this rating for a few of it's over the top scenes and jokes. Still.....this is from the guy who did The Lord of the Ring series over a decade and 1/2 later.

Grayson D (mx) wrote: Modines performance is much better than Parkers direction so worth seeing for that. This could have been a great film but remains an interesting one.

Andrew G (de) wrote: Flower Power couldn't save this frustrating, at times, melodrama - at least it was not as overly political as some of its DEFA counterparts.
