I have no idea whether the people behind this actually thought this was a good idea or if a bunch of yes-men talked them into it but the bottom line is this - someone, you're yes-men or yourself, lied to you. This sucks. And what sucks even more is that this could have been a GOOD movie. The casting was decent for the most part, the story was there. But the direction threw it all away.I'm not exaggerating when I say I got a headache from watching this. The unnecessary shaking, the needless blurriness, why? Why? Someone please, for the love of God above, tell me WHY?This movie is on par with the average YouTube video. Nothing more needs to be said.

The Critic (kr) wrote: Whilst not many popular television programmes make the transition to the feature-length arena all the successfully, 'Are You Being Served?' surprisingly does. Political correctness is put aside as the cast of beloved characters partake in typical "wink wink, nudge nudge" humour. A treat for fans.

Mark H (mx) wrote: 85%Bernard Hermann's jarring score is what ultimately leads to this films success, alongside Hitchcock's precise attention to the horror genre. I did find the scenes after the climax a bit tedious although somewhat necessary to explain the psyche of Mr. Bates, and the film more intriguing than scary, but the film itself is a genuine thrill ride.
