Allan C (au) wrote: Sequel to "Support Your Local Sheriff" offers a pretty similar story of conman James Garner taming a wacky town in the wild west, mostly with his wits instead of his guns or fists. Burt Kennedy returned to direct this entertaining, though awfully silly, west. Jack Elam, Harry Morgan, Henry Jones, Dub Taylor and Kathleen Freeman all also return for this sequel and are joined by the very likable Suzanne Pleshette, Joan Blondell, Chuck Connors, Marie Windsor, and John Dehner. It's a complete piece of fluff, but it's a very amiable film

But I felt engrossed at the beginning of United 93 but I gradually lost interest and it just dragged on until I just was kind of thinking things like this is getting slightly repetitive, I appreciate the sense of desperation. However, towards the last 30 or so minutes, it felt tiresome to me, the tension was gone by then, I just was getting back into it by the end. Overall, I just found this to be badly paced and repetitive.

Dan A (br) wrote: True story or not, the film isn't really adding anything else to the serial killer genre. In fact, it's just treading the same old ground. We know who the killer is from the start, so as a result we're not really invested in the investigation because we know everything already. Nic Cage is just sort of there, John Cusack does quite well but he was pretty badly miscast in my opinion, Vanessa Hudgens over-acts and is annoying. Shame.
