It feels like it was building up to something stellar. So, these students are being lab rats for extra dough. The main kid, one of the computer people from Tron, is goofy, cocky, and just a bit charming. Day 1 of the research make him unstoppable; Day 2 has him ill and in trouble. Where I left off ,I believe, a (fake-)dead scientist was using him to murder his police officer father...The coup de force of the flick is the great party sequence. As always, I'm a sucker for a costume and a dance number, and this is no different. There is something about someone being stabbed while people are nearby and no one helping that scares me deeply. The pool scene is traumatizing. And, lets not forget, she's a 13 year old slut who just avoided rape. -ah...Zack mentioned that it was filmed in New Zealand, and every so often you can hear an accent
