Even if the director of this film got some of his buddies to watch it and give their opinion on it, I know for a fact the people would have said "Yo man, this work is a piece of shit bro. You can do better than that. Girls are hot though, but for real man, you couldn't pay me to sit through this shit." (assuming the people he asked were college boys, in which case their critique would have gone something like that). I just watched this movie because I know I will have to make films for college probably by the beginning of next year. I saw this movie was a low budget, horror flick that most likely used student actors. The movies I will have to make will also be low budget and use student actors, however my movies will be of much higher quality with talented actors and a plot that doesn't make me want to vomit. Everything about "Five Across the Eyes" is so like atrocious, I can't really take it seriously. I really like the poster of this film though. It shows emotional tension, fear, hopelessness, and blood. If only the movie was half as good as the poster....Anyway, I watched the credits and it seriously looks like 5 people worked on this film, there was like hardly any film crew lol. Just goes to show how blatantly awful this movie was.
Yosef F (us) wrote: This is the most overrated film I have ever seen. Does this even deserve a review? I will say this: Run Lola Run has such worthless characters that when they got run over by a car, I laughed because the film wanted me to care about them and failed. With a soundtrack that makes you feel sick, characters who are bad people and therefore almost impossible to watch, and too much reliance on cheap symbolism and philosophy over actual plot, Run Lola Run is a complete insult to anyone watching it. I actually got a Rotten Tomatoes account with the sole purpose of reviewing this godforsaken movie. Don't waste your time with this garbage.

Will D (nl) wrote: Both flawed and ambitious, Dust Devil is striking in its imagery and imagination but let down by acting that is merely adequate. I've heard interviews which illuminate how difficult it was to post-produce the film, the owners of it just gave up on it after a huge financial collapse. It's as desolate as Hardware but in a different way. Richard Stanley is a master director, so many shots in it are breathtakingly beautiful. By rights he ought to have money thrown at him for the purpose of making films.

Very violent at times, although the art house production means we don't get to see every beating they gave out - a lot is simply implied. It all finishes a bit suddenly, making me wonder if there isn't a sequel in the works or already out there..
